California leads the nation in signing agreements with Certified Anger Management Facilitators to provide assessments and classes for mandated indigent participants in anger management classes. Some health insurance companies are also finding it more effective to limit providers to Certified Facilitators rather than generic counseling or psychotherapy. Covid-19 has resulted in a dramatic increase in person-directed aggression worldwide.

Middle and High Schools

  • Approved Prison Reentry Programs
  • Parole Offices statewide
  • County Mental Health Departments
  • In-patient and Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs
  • Juvenile Diversion Programs
  • HR Managers
  • Hospital Credential Committees
  • EAPs

Since Anger is not an illness, it is not included in graduate training for psychologists, counselors, or social workers.
