A detailed explanation of the client’s scores on this assessment is discussed, what it means and implies. The Coach and the client will develop an Action Plan designed to assist the client in utilizing the tools introduced during the initial twelve Zoom sessions. We have found that our clients become very enthusiastic, once they understand the implication of both their strengths and weaknesses and what self knowledge will do to help them advance in their careers and even extend into their intimate family life.
Session One – Client debriefing of EQ-i -2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment results
Sessions Two, Three, and Four – George Anderson and client will continue to review and discuss the emotional intelligence assessment results, develop an action plan and establish goals for coaching.
Session Five- An overview of Emotional Intelligence Coaching with a definition of the 15 scales of the BarOn Assessment and how they relate to each other.
Sessions Six, Seven & Eight -Impulse Control with exercises from the client workbook as well as The Contrasting Wheels of Behavior will be demonstrated.
The Client will learn:
- To identify situations that produce emotions of anger or frustration
- That anger is a secondary emotion, that underlying feelings triggers our anger
- That anger can be an indication of unmet needs that require more attention
- The coping skills to manage emotions in your interpersonal relationships, including in the workplace, at home, and in public
- The client will practice these skills and record Behavior Logs to report how you managed a situation from your daily life.
Sessions Nine & Ten- Stress Management (DVD: Gaining Control of Ourselves)
The Client will learn:
- About stress and its effects
- About stressors and how to identify them
- About negative self-talk and its effects
- How to overcome stressful situations
Sessions Eleven and Twelve – Emotional Intelligence and Summary (DVD: Gaining Control of Ourselves)
The Client will learn:
- The new concept of emotional intelligence
- Client will learn to apply emotional intelligence techniques in his/her life
- How to use emotional intelligence to manage your anger and develop deeper empathy
RESULTS
If the skill sets taught regarding self-awareness and self-control are used as directed, then the client will have an extensive insight on social awareness, relationship and stress management, as well as they key concepts of anger management, communication, and emotional intelligence.
This will enable the client to be more productive, less stressed, and overall, more empathetic to the needs of others.
They will communicate more effectively and express their emotions more appropriately in regard to the everyday situations that life presents them with.
