16-hour CEU training for Certified Batterer's Intervention Facilitators - $799

Emotional intelligence is being introduced into Batterer’s Intervention Programs in California through new 16-hour CEU training initiatives.

Here are the key details:

Anderson & Anderson, APC, a significant player in Batterer’s Intervention legislation and training in California, is offering a new 16-hour AI-designed CEU training for Certified Domestic Violence Facilitators starting nationwide. This training focuses on enhancing emotional intelligence skills,
Including:

  • Self-awareness
  • Self-control
  • Social awareness
  • Relationship management
  • Empathy

This new approach is being introduced in response to recent research ordered by the California Governor, which found that the current intervention methods mandated by California Penal Code 1203.097 have failed.

The study revealed that few defendants complete the programs, and there is little reduction in violence in intimate relationships.

Incorporating emotional intelligence into Batterer’s Intervention Programs aims to improve their effectiveness. Emotional intelligence training can help participants develop better self-awareness, impulse control, and relationship management skills, which are crucial for reducing violent behavior and improving interpersonal relationships.

Each participant will receive a sample EQ-1-2.0 Assessment results, a Ray of Hope client workbook, and the Course Content for use in Batterer’s Intervention programs for family violence.

Once the training is completed and the participant has provided feedback on
his or her experience, A Certification of completion will be mailed to the participant.
